All bookings are made with 62°NORD AS, a company registered in Norway. These Terms & Conditions and any agreements arising from them are governed by Norwegian law, including the provisions of the Norwegian Package Travel Act and related regulations.
2. BOOKINGS & PAYMENT TERMS
A 30% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 45 days before the start of the journey.
For bookings made within 45 days of departure, full payment is required upon confirmation.
Payments may be made securely online or by invoice issued by 62°NORD.
3. PRICES & INCLUSIONS
The cost of the journey includes all applicable taxes, fees, and duties, including Norwegian VAT, related to the services confirmed in the itinerary.
Unless otherwise specified, prices do not include personal expenses such as gratuities, visa or passport fees, travel insurance, medical expenses, or items not listed in the confirmed itinerary.
A detailed overview of inclusions and exclusions will always be shared during the planning and booking process.
4. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
We understand that travel plans may change, and we aim to balance flexibility for our guests with fairness to our local partners — many of whom are small, family-owned businesses that rely on advance reservations.
The following cancellation terms apply:
The deposit is non-refundable.
Final payment is non-refundable once paid (45 days prior to arrival).
No refunds will be given for unused services, missed experiences, or early departures.
Name changes may be possible up to 45 days prior to arrival and may be subject to fees.
In the unlikely event that 62°NORD must cancel a journey, guests will receive a full refund of all amounts paid directly to 62°NORD for the cancelled services.
5. TRAVEL INSURANCE
62°NORD strongly recommends that all guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, delays, medical emergencies, and personal belongings.
Should unforeseen personal circumstances require cancellation within the non-refundable period, guests are encouraged to seek reimbursement through their travel insurance provider.
6. LIABILITY & RISK ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
By booking with 62°NORD, guests acknowledge that certain experiences may involve risks beyond those associated with conventional travel.
Participation in all activities is at the guest’s own risk. 62°NORD and its suppliers cannot be held liable for loss, damage, injury, illness, delays, accidents, or death arising during the journey or caused by circumstances beyond our control.
7. HEALTH & SAFETY
Guests are responsible for informing 62°NORD of any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or mobility limitations prior to travel.
Some experiences take place in remote natural environments where immediate medical assistance may not be available.
8. AGE & PARTICIPATION
All guests are welcome unless otherwise stated. Certain experiences may have age or licensing requirements:
Snow scooter experiences require a valid driver’s license recognized in Norway.
Drive the Fjords experiences require drivers to be at least 25 years old and hold a valid driver’s license recognized in Norway.
62°NORD reserves the right to verify eligibility for vehicle-related experiences.
9. GUEST CONDUCT
Guests are expected to behave respectfully toward fellow travelers, hosts, guides, and local communities.
62°NORD reserves the right to remove any guest from a journey, at the guest’s own expense, if behavior is considered unsafe, disruptive, unlawful, or negatively impacts others. No refunds will be given in such cases.
10. FORCE MAJEURE & ITINERARY CHANGES
62°NORD may adjust or modify parts of the itinerary due to weather conditions, transport disruptions, safety concerns, government regulations, illness, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Where possible, suitable alternatives will be arranged. Refunds are not provided for changes resulting from force majeure events.
11. ITINERARY CHANGES & GUEST SUBSTITUTIONS
Requests for itinerary changes after confirmation are subject to availability and may incur additional costs. Significant changes may be treated as cancellations.
Guest substitutions or name changes may be requested up to 45 days prior to arrival.
12. MEDIA & IMAGE USE
Unless otherwise requested in writing before departure, guests consent to the use of photos and video material captured during the journey for 62°NORD marketing and promotional purposes.
13. DATA PROTECTION & GDPR
62°NORD complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Personal information is collected solely for the purpose of planning and operating journeys and is only shared with relevant service providers where necessary.
Guests may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data at any time.
14. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Norwegian law, including applicable provisions of the Norwegian Package Travel Act.
Should a dispute arise, both parties agree to seek an amicable resolution wherever possible.
